New Haven Families,
Students in grades 3-6 have been sent home with progress reports for the first grading period. All elementary schools in the county have switched to a traditional grade reporting for students in grades 3-6. Your student’s teacher has a plan in place to provide educational supports and interventions to help those students that are struggling with academic learning. Please continue to encourage your student to actively participate in learning activities and discuss the importance of good school attendance.

We would like to let everyone know that New Haven Elementary has not received any of the publicized social media threats. When we receive any concerning information, we investigate it fully. At no time in the last few days have law enforcement or school personnel felt a lockdown was warranted as part of our security efforts. If that becomes necessary, we will not hesitate to act and notify families. Please feel free to contact Ms. DeHainaut or Ms. Grady with any security questions you may have. However, we may not comment on students or investigations. We will be conducting our lock down and shelter in place drills next week.

Attention New Haven Elementary students and families. We would like to invite you to our Back to School bash on August 19th at 5-6:30 pm. Meet your student's teacher, get access to a variety of resources, and have some fun. We look forward to seeing you there.
